I was wondering if there is any way to suppress the database window popping up everytime you click on a form in the taskbar or everytime you open a new database.

I like the fact that the database window is in the taskbar but I very much dislike it when you minimize a form, decide to restore it and the database window opens up behind the form view.

I also very much dislike the fact that when I have one database open but minimized and I decide to open a new database, the database window of the original database opens behind the new database.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Tammy Thank you for your help.

Hide the database window at startup or in the database window, select Window, Hide. Select Window, Unhide to see it again.

To do it on startup of the database, select Tools, Startup, then uncheck "Display Database Window".
