Suppress Blank Section in Section Expert 1

I have turned on the Suppress Blank Section for a group header but I still get a blank line when there is nothing to print.&nbsp;&nbsp;The only thing in the group header is a subreport which is supressed at the subreport level.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Underlay Following Sections is also turned on for the group header.&nbsp;&nbsp;I am running CRW 7.0.100.15.&nbsp;&nbsp;Has anybody found the Suppress Blank Section to not work in this version?<br><br>Thanks!<br>Rena

I've noticed that quirk as well - I reduced the problem by making the height of the subreport extremely small, and then making the height of the group section it is in very small.&nbsp;&nbsp;As the group section grows in height to match the size of the subreport, this doesn't alter the subreport, but does make that blank line less of an issue.&nbsp;&nbsp;Anyone know how to get rid of it completely though? <p>Malcolm Wynden<br><a href=mailto:wynden@island.dot.net>wynden@island.dot.net</a><br><a href= > </a><br>

Hi Malcolm,<br><br>Thanks for the helpful tip.&nbsp;&nbsp;I did as you suggested and also took off the Underlay Following Sections.&nbsp;&nbsp;The spacing on the report is now acceptable.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thanks for letting me know that it is a quirk and not just me ;-).<br><br>Have a good one...<br><br>Rena
