Hello

Another Quark to Indesign question. In Quark we could select art pieces, objects, text boxes and check off not to print. We are using phantom notebook guides and punch holes (as set up in our customers template) and I need to not print them. Originally they were not printing but something must have been selected or deselected because they are showing up randomly on pages.

Where do you suppress the piece not to printout, and what does Indesign call this? They did not create the template in layers so I don't have that choice.

Thanks

Scasella

If yu select an object and open the Attributes window you can designate the object as Non Printing.

For future reference you might consider putting the punch holes on a master and designate them to be non printing. Saves having to go through pages.
