Hi all,
How do i supress a section using code in crystal reports.
I need to add a page aftre a section but i would like to supress some sections as well on the page break, eg details sectiona and the header section, i dont want them to appear on the page break.

i hope my question is clear

thanks

No, this isn't clear. When referencing sections, you should identify what specific sections you mean, e.g., report header, group header, page header, etc. Nothing appears "on" a page break--do you mean on the page(s) following the page break? What is the condition that you want to apply for suppressing the sections?

Hi lbass, Thnaks very much.
Yes i want to supress after a page break. i just want to suppress all the other sections except one(the page footer).
So the following will be suppressed "report header, group header, page header, deails sections".

Regards

A page footer will not appear on a page by itself, and a report header ONLY appears on the first page of a report. You could format the group footer to "new page after", but leave an empty report footer section for the last page, with a formula to suppress the page header:

pagenumber = totalpagecount

Hi LBass,
Is this the formula to supress the page report headers.
Would you know a link where i can read all this info. I need to supress the details section as well and some other sections too.

There is no such thing as a page report header. There are page headers and one report header per report. You don't necessarily need formulas to suppress sections. For help, you must be more specific about your report design and about what you are trying to do. For example, do have any groups? Are you formatting a new page after a group footer? Under what conditions do you want to suppress a page header?

Hi lbass,
Its difficult to understand that you still im still not clear, but this pagenumber = totalpagecount from your thread did the trick, i thought ineeded to write a formula.
Thanks very much, it really helped me a lot.

Thanks
