I`m implementing JDE oneworld XE in a Pharmaceutucals manufacturing site. The site supplies its UK market as Make to stock, being driven by forecast, and Export business is Make to order, with actual sales orders driving production.
While XE can easily be set up with the correct doc/line types and supply/demand inclusion rules to support this, how can we also support ATP and forecast consumption based on the fact that:
An MTO order will consume the MTS forecast if it happens to be the demand for the same item number. (and no were not going to create 2 sets of items for the 2 markets)
ATP will only be used for the UK (MTS) market, but will have visibility of all work orders regardless of the w/o`s intended market - how can we prevent this?
Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.
