Most companies do not want to use IMS (requires license and IMS client sogtware to be loaded on each users computer). Also can load down your network traffic when using wav files are xfered or copied to your email. They ask their employees to send alerts not wavs to thier emails. Just plain voicemail to email is prefered most of the time (no license, no software). All you need is SMTP capabilities on their email server. Program IP Office and v-mail pro.
Just a thought.
Yeah I've heard that also, unfortunately IMS is what the sales team sold to the customer, I had the IMS working on VMPRO rel 3.1.21 but we had to upgrade the IP406 because of some issues with rel 3.1.65 and the 5621 IP phones, when we upgraded the VM to 3.2.30 I started checking on the supported OS for IMS and was getting conflicting information, some documents say windows XP Professional is supported for IMS and another document I got from an AVAYA TELECHAT says the OS must be a server OS ie. Windows 2003.
