After each pc warranty has expired, I find it useful to utilize the Support Information field in My Computer/System Properties to our advantage. Unfotunately I lost my notes on how to change those info and I am unable to locate my resource for it. I would appreciate help on how to do it, and also how to change the logo and Manufactured by info in the same tab.

The Manufacturer and support info is located in a file named OEMINFO.INI in the Windows\System folder.<br><br>It has the following format ><br><br>[General]<br>Manufacturer=company<br>Model=model info<br><br>[Support Information]<br>Line1= Tech support info<br>Line2= phone number<br>Line3= web page<br>etc...<br><br>To put a logo in there create a BMP called OEMINFO.BMP and save it in the Windows\System folder<br><br>Typically, the logo should be either 96x96 or 120x120 and 256 colors.<br><br> <p>Doug<br><a href=mailto:dxd_2000@yahoo.com>dxd_2000@yahoo.com</a><br><a href= > </a><br>
