Support for DASS in the UK

Has anyone in the UK heard that BT will be ceasing DASS services this year as part of the tranfer to 21CN???

A friend of mine told me they are, but, I can't find any confirmation of this??

I haven't heard anything as such. maybe it's misunderstanding as in..

BT are rolling out 21CN and will pahse out existing services..

but if you find otherwise, let us know...

I doubt that very much, the reason it's called 21st CN is that it won't be completed before the end of the 21st century

When I was born I was so suprised I didn't talk for 18 months

the reason its call 21st CN is will take the 21st person you speak to, for them to accept they "may" have a problem with the lines.
The CN stands for called number

i.e the 21st Called Number will admit it isn't your hardware....

I believe that it's been some time since BT have rolled out any new DASS installations - it's all been Q931.

Hopefully if the old DASS stuff is going to cause problems BT will sort it out and move everyone over.
