I love the new support.avaya.com, its so restful. Its so slow I enjoy looking at the blank white screen while it works out if its going to show me anything.

Seems to be ok for me.

Must be me then, seems very very slow both on work and home connections.

avaya's support site has always been nortoriously slow to navigate and downloads are just OK, even when I worked there it was slow for us internally. Even worse now from the outside looking in

Never had any problems here. I'm currently downloading at 370kB/s from support.avaya.com.

Then again, being in Australia it's probably off peak when I access it :)

No connection problems overhere
Only i do not like the new look or am i the only one ?

We should be getting used to the idea of change by now but it seems when push comes to shove we all like it the way it used to be.

How many times have you heard customers say that and you have had to educate them in the rror of there stuck in the past ways?

I know what you mean but in the case of this website, it is worse then it already used to be
If oyu know your way true the website it is not that bad
I think it didn't get any better so why change it
I know you have to get used to it :)

It just slow. Maybe the change to appearance has may me look at it more closely again and so be reminded of how slow it always has been but to my perception it seems slower than previously. Just annoying that someone in Avaya will be congratulating themselves on the improvements when the basics like speed haven't changed.

Yeah, it really is a lot slower since the change... I think I actually did doze off once... %-)

I checked and indeed it is a lot slower now

I'm sure I'll get used to it but I too preferred the old version. Much easier to get straight to the IPO section before.

It seems slower if you go through the main entrance support.avaya.com but I have the IPO overview on a link and that is way faster. I didn't even know that they changed it until I read this and I have to say it looks different but it has some nice and interresting things right in plain view

This link works ok?!

I hear you on the pain of slow connects. My previous employer I could set my lappy to download a new set of full software at the office. Then drive an hour home, start the downloads from home, start making lunch, walk to the store to get some potatoes, put them in the oven to bake, fire up the grill, and cook some steak over the flame, eat the baked potatoe, steak, take a shower, burn all the downloaded at home files to CD, head back to the office for that hour drive, and still the office files are not done downloading. They complained about me clocking in to download from home, so I went back to doing it at the office.

Kidding, I just got them from home.
