Supervisor Observe on an analog set?

Is there a way (SPRE code, etc) to listen to observe ACD agent calls on an analog set? My boss wants cordless phones for supervisors to walk the floor & dial-in to listen to agents. He doesn't want to shell out 7 bills each for 2616CT sets.

Observation is a Supervisor Set feature and is programmed on a key of digital set. Since an analog set can not be a supervisor therefore in my knowledge it will not be possible to have observation feature through any SPRE code.
