Supervisor fails to Update

A colleague has a weird problem using Supervisor on BO 5.1.7., with the repository on SQL/Server.

A user exceeded the Logon retries and was locked out. My colleague used Supervisor to reset the password. This appeared to have no effect. On further investigation, it seems that whatever changes are made to the user profile thet do not always get written to the Repository. At least on exiting and re-starting Supervisor the changes are not apparant.

Eventually a password change for the user 'stuck' and log-on worked.

My colleague then changed the user to 'Disabled'. The user was still able to log on!

Any ideas?
 
You should likely do a Scan/Repair/Compact on your security domain. When I've seen this problem in the past, it is usually caused by some corruption in the repository. S/C/R almost always solves it.

Also, make sure you're signing on in "Online" mode.
