supervision not working correctly on BCM 50

Trouble with BCM 50- When I set trunk mode to ROI the system stops seeing the line correctly. It picks it up for a second or two and then drops it saying 'no dial tone'. It is ok when I set it to ROA but I am trying to set up an external transfer and I believe I will need to have it set to ROI correct?

Is there a setting to change the frequency of the dial tone or something? Our different providers have different sounding dial tones.
