Superstack III lights will flash normally then stay on

we have a matrix of 4 superstack III's.. the traffic lights above each port are normal ( blinking alot and randomly ) but will come on hard and stay hard for minutes at a time.. then go back to the normal pattern. happens every 5 to 10 mins.

We have not noticed any type of slowdown and all sniffer traces do not point to any kind of broadcast storms or multicast packets. collisions are normal and % Util. is under 1%...

Anyone ever seen this? The firmware ver is 2.60..

I have not seen such a thing but a similar kind of thing. The lights of my 4900 switch went on and stayed like that.
I had to reload my Software. Tried reloading the latest software on to your switches. The problem might be solved.
