Has anyone had to recover from a failed firmware upgrade? I have a 3Com SuperStack 1000 that "froze" during a firmware upgrade and now all the LEDs are continuosly lit and the management LED is flashing. If I can perform a hard reset back to factory condition that would work just fine. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

I have similar problem...
O use SuperStack III RAS 1500 and the simthoms are the same. I tried reseting it several times after 3 secunde pause, but with no success... any ideas how to overide this problem?

Hello

Now you have to prepare this things:

- RS232 cable
- Workstation with ftp software and the newest switch firmware version.
- You have to log in (3com 1000) with security login
- Don't forget to put in your workstation or notebook the same range of ip address and subnetmask.
- In the prompt (3com 1000) you'll type /? for help.
- Now you'll be able to fix your problem, just following the help instructions.

If you need a ftp sofware contact me.
