we have one superset 7 console that occasionally gets goofy according to the operators, i.e. it goes into night mode by itself, I know that ordinarily this will only happen if a call to the operator goes unanswered, as I am usually not informed till after the fact that this is happening, I have looked at the console features in and in Note Mode, it usually has DND as a active feature, has anybody run into this, the only "guess" I can venture as it happens so infrequently is that they are actually missing a call or b, someone is "fat fingering" something and is dialing the "DND remote" number, It code is not in the system speed dial, any other places to look ?

I don't think you can put the console in dnd. I know that a faulty line cord can put the console absent or in night as well as the attendant time out if nothing happens on the console for a certain amount of time.. I have had the console go absent when it doesn't get any calls. check you attendant busy out timer in the console class of service.

the attendant timeout/ busy was at 1440 minutes, or 24 hours, Mitel Direct did also say that the "Data flow" between it and the system was intense it could cause a problem if there was a heavy amount of Traffic on the card, it would cause that to happen, so I've taken a few of the Sets that where on that card off, and put them on other Dnic's since it does not happen all the time I will wait and see if it pops up again, I haven't looked at the line cord yet but will keep that in mind, I did get the Joy of replacing a Line Cord yesterday on a different Set and took Great Joy in Cutting it up into a Dozen small Pieces ;-)
