I have a remote site 3 states away that has a router connected to a Superstack II 1000 12 port switch.
The router has autonegotiated a 10 Half duplex connection.
I want to change it to 100/full
I only have console access to the switch.
I have configured an IP address on it with subnet mask and default gateway, but still cannot ping the switch.
Does the switch have to have a reset or something for the IP address to apply via the console access?
