I have an interesting problem. I have a 24 port 10/100 3300sm with the mtrj jack. In a baseline troubleshoot I have the switch and 2 computers all configured on the same subnet. I can not ping from any location to another location. The local computers ping back thier own ip but go no further than the port. From the console port I cannot ping anything else. The front panel shows activity but nothing is happening, the status on the console shows activity but noting is getting past the port. The obvious has been checked such as Vlan, config, port state, port speed, etc. The system has been initialized to factory, latest firmware from 3com, yada yada yada. So far, the only thing that I can figure is that it is a hardware defect. Also, It just stopped working after 6 months of operation. Any help would be appriciated.
