situation:
Im logged into my domain, Outlook 2003 is set to retreive mail, public folders from E2K3, Every time I log on, (run outlook) it askes me for a password. Even after I check the "remember password" box and typeing in the password, If i re-run outlook, i have to type it again. Something I need to change in teh exchange system manager? I cant recall how I fixed this.

TIA

depending on how you have outlook setup, you always have to enter your password. If you are sitting inside the network where exchange is you shouldnt have to enter a password as it should use your login credentials on your workstation. If you use RPC over HTTP then its going to ask you for your password everytime you open outlook.

hrmm, as far as setup, im not sure entirly what you mean. But Im running one server (windows 2003 sbs) and exchange 2k3. I log in via the domain, i open outlook which has my microsoft exchange info in. Right now i only use outlook for the public folders. Im not sure what you mean by RPC so, ive been on other networks ive managed and havent had to reenter my password everytime i open outlook that accesses exchange

interesting... my brain is kinda fried because of a spam software issue i just dealt with, but it maybe because of the public folders. The way security settings are its requiring you to login everytime you want to open them, but that doesnt really sound right.
