sunpci 2.2.1 and solaris 2.5.1

I have recently received sunpci cards for use in Ultra 60's.
I have used the sunpci 1 cards and they worked well but the new software says it is not supported under Solaris 2.5.1.
Does anyone know if they will work or if the is a build diffrence that will keep them from operating.
