I have gotten a used SunBlade 100 and have a Sun USB Keyboard and Mouse. When I try to boot up I briefly see Keyboard not present and the screen on monitor from VGA goes blank. I believe this used to be plugged into a 4 port USB KVM. How do I get the monitor and keyboard to be recognized? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Paul

plarrondo;

Try the following;

reset NVRAM to defaults (done by double-clicking the power switch after the POST beep).

Double clicking the power button is almost like double clicking a mouse. If you do the double click to soon the system will just power off.

To me it almost sounds like there is a problem with the usb port or keyboard (generally it would be the port itself). The system is saying that it does not see any keyboard present. Do the leds light up on the keyboard when the system is going through post.

Thanks
