PcAnywhere and RemoteAdmin software allows you to connect just as you were at the console in a Windows environment. What software can I install on a Sun box and on my Windows PC that let me do the same?

You didn't say which you want to use as a remote server? Windows or solaris?

Solaris usually broadcasts its Xwindows server as default. You only need an Xwindows client. The programs stated above are Xclients to be installed on the M$ windows platform.

We use Hummingbird Exceed 7. I'm running it right now on a Windows 2000 PC to manage a Solaris 8 server. It's very slow over a dial-up connection, but works fine on a network.

There is a Solaris version of VNC. Check the download links at the VNC site from mikeclark's post.

I am using a 30 port terminal server on the serial port of our suns, it can still manage them from home when they are at the OK prompt, very nice. portmasters are very available on ebay, under $100 I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
