I am working with a Sun x2100 server running Solaris 10. I am using the bge0 interface to connect to our intranet.
From my workstation and from another Sun server, the connection will run for several seconds to several minutes, then it will 'freeze'. The freeze will last from seconds to a couple of minutes when PuTTY or ssh on the other workstation will terminate the connection due to inactivity.
I can connect to the ILOM and connect to the console and there are no freezes on this connection while the connections on the ethernet connection are frozen.
We've changed the switch configuration on this port to fixed speed, fixed duplex and the same on the server.
I've changed the server to connect at both 1Gbps and 100Mbps with the same behavior.
Any ideas as to what may be causing this?
Thanks!
