We have a SUN VTL Appliance 3540 series. We would like to create a virtual tape library that is presented as an SL8500, but SL8500 is not one of the options on the version we have. We therefore have configured a SUN_VTL and a L700 virtual library. With Solaris 10 we are able to connect to both libraries, but with Solaris 9 we get mode sense errors and we are unable to configure the library with jbconfig. We are using Networker for Unix version 7.3.3. Any help?
