Hello,

Does any one have SunFire V480?
I try to look for CPU speed, but looks like "ifconfig -a" won't tell me the CPU speed, which works for other system?
Thanks

ifconfig will give you network data.

prsinfo -v (will give you detailed processors data)

Ahhh!
What's a day! Sorry, too busy today, and I still have a cut/paste memory at the time that I did not notice when quickly posted, I should say "prtdiag -v", not the other !

By the way, I look into man page for your "prsinfo" command, and there is no such thing. I am not sure it is your typo or else.

Please repost.Tx

/usr/platform/`uname -i`/sbin/prtdiag -v

should give you the info you require. If not, what does it show on your system. Have a better day today!!

Thanks all,

- I got it now, yes the right command is psrinfo -v which Tuka's typo. He switches around the s and the r. That's why! Thanks all.
- By the way, the 'prtdiag -v' won't show the speed of CPU (as I mentioned I already used on this system, but it works for others. I also use 'uname -i' to grep for the exact model too, still don't show).

Thanks all again.
