I am configuring a 3310 connected to a Sun V440... When i am in OBP, running probe-scsi-all shows up 3310. However under Solaris nothing shows up.

Both 32- & 64-bit driver for SCSI-adapter have been installed,
all required firmware updates have been applied.

I am using EIScheck documentation to configure this box....

Are you shure you have the correct drivers? Because if you use a SCSI3 HBA you need to download the drivers seperately. They are not included in Solaris 8 or 9.

This and a lot more thing to think of while connecting a 3310 can be found on sunsolve.sun.com Documentid: 71418

If it is working, check out this link:

vGogh, had done this already, otherwise i wouldn't have posted anything.

But i solved it! Had to create a Logical Disk on the 3310 first....

After labeling and newfs-ing the disk, it all works fine!
