SUN Ultra 1 140 CPU MODULE FAN does not spin

Hi Folks:

Purchased this SUN Ultra 1 140 recently.

Diag and probe testings are OK so far but I notice the CPU Module FAN does not spin

It this normal?

Yes it's normal. The CPU Module Fan only spin, if the temp is really hot. If then the fan doesn't spin,you can replace it (by call Sun):

UltraSPARC Fan 540-2761 was replaced by Heatsink 540-3361 and Shield 540-3090 in May/June 1997.
