Anyone using one of these? We recently rented an E450 with one of these installed and I am not familiar with them. I understand that you create RAID5s and mirrors with the SRC/P Storage Manager Software. If this is the case, then for what reason would I need a product like Veritas Volume Manager or Solstice Disk Suite? Can someone give me some guidance?

If you have a hardware RAID unit you would create your partitians there. DiskSuit would be used to create RAID partitians using the drives attached to your system.
Basically DiskSuite uses software to do the same job that a hardware RAID box would do. Its a cheaper alternative.
