Hey I need help! I just got a sun spark 10 I lucked up and got it at a moving sale. The people did'nt know anything about it.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to get in the system so I can set it up,When I start the machine it wants to go stright out to a set ip address. If anyone can help I could use it!!! Thanks Charlie

boot to single-user mode and do a sys-unconfig

if you don't know root password, boot from cd (boot cdrom -s), mount root partition to /a, wipe out password from /a/etc/shadow, boot to single user, sys-unconfig

are the file system layouts on this machine and swap size matching ur requirement? I suggest better hav a new solaris install on that m/c so that all the FS layouts and configurations will be as per ur rqmt..so that it will be helpful in long run..
