Sun Monitor on Wintel pc?

Has anyone done this? I have an opportunity to pick up a very slightly used 21" Sun monitor - I don't have the model number right here in front of me - for a very good price. I know I can get a vga to Sun adapter for the cable, but I am wondering if I have to do anything special to make this monster work on my Win2k PC at a decent frequency and resolution. My Radeon card drives my current 17" monitor at 1024x768 and 85hz with no problem, so I should be able to hit 1600x1200 at 70hz or so....I just want to see if there are any known hurdles before I haul this thing home...
