Sun Monitor Adapter

Has anyone tried to use an adapter for a sun monitor. (ie. Convert the Sun cable to a VGA or SVGA monitor.)

I have tried two different adapters with three monitors. Two monitors get rolling screens, and one gets a message "scan out of range".

Help! Anyone! JW
