Hello all!

I'm pretty new to Sun Solaris machines so please bear with me. I'm looking for some sort of KVM converter that would allow me to hook my Sun machine up to a regular KVM switch so that I can use a PS/2 mouse, keyboard, and monitor. Here's the problem, I've found a couple of converters but they're all converting Sun's standard video to VGA....my Sun Solaris machine's video outputs to regular VGA already =/ Has anyone found a solution for this? Connecting a Sun Solaris computer with VGA and Sun keyboard/mouse to KVM for conversion to VGA video and PS/2 mouse and keyboard?

Thanks,

Sun has a converter to use a PS/2 style mouse and keyboard on a Sun system. You can find these on eBay. Look for "X465A" under the Computers section. These seem to go for under $100 on eBay. With this you can use just about any KVM switch for a PC.

Hope this helps.
