I am running Vista Home Basic and cannot get JSE 6 or the bundle 5 or 5 without NetBeans to install. The error I get is it failed to create the file directory. Anybody know how I can get 8.1 to run on this Vista box? Any version of it will do, my apps are very basic at this point.
