SUN Java COM Bridge

Have someone heard about Java COM bridge? have anyone worked with it?
There was a question from TheMillionDollarMan, why I don't use CORBA, the answer is:
for example I would use it from an MS Office VBA application, for example MSAccess, MSExcell. I can not use CORBA there at all. Also if I would use java from VisualC++, why should I use CORBA if I can use COM and SUN Java COM Bridge(however there I can use CORBA)?.

I've used JACOB. A API allow you to write wrapper classes for COM objects. But it doesn't seem to support COM event handling though.

but my question is about sun Java COM bridge. It's name is j2eecas. I found it this morning and installed it.
