Hello there,
we have a sun fire x2250 that needed the SP (ILOM) password reset. with my luck, there turns out to be no documentation on this. there are only claims in the Sun documentation about a "procedure" involving "jumpers" but it is all LIES i tell you!
So, i tried some trial and error, and tried moving jumpers around one at a time. Guess Sun's supreme hardware couldn't handle it, as now the system comes on without any POST/video and all three of the front LEDs are on (green power, white indicator, and orange fault). Sorry, i am understandably frustrated over the closed nature of Sun and all that surrounds it, being a Linux user. It seems the only way to get some good information is to buy it through a service contract.
Have you any idea how i can recover from this fault?
Thanks
