I have inherited a pair of Sun Fire x2100 servers (not the M2) running Windows Server 2003 and I was wondering whether anyone could offer advice about getting Lights Out connectivity to these servers.
Reading the Sun website, they offer the System Management Daughter Card (SMDC) as an add-on but please could anyone give any advice about whether this is what I am looking for. Basically, I am after a browser-based GUI which gives console redirection no matter what state the server is in (similar to IBM's RSA, HP's iLO and Dell's DRAC).
Please can someone advise?
