Anyone have experience with SUN NAS devices. I have 2 5320 NAS Heads. The OS is 4321 M2 (Build 2). Network security for my corporation is hammering me about meeting there security standards on this machine by shutting down specific listening ports.
The OS has some Solaris commands but is extremely limited. SUN claims that my only option is to put it on a private subnet because I can not shutdown ports. I find it hard to believe that they would design a network accessable hardware product and not allow you secure it... but then again... it is SUN.
Any help would be appreciated.
