Sun 3310 JBOD SCSI HOW TO ?

Have a question for all you SUN xperts.
I have a 440r with sol 9 and dual ultra 3 scsi hba.
I want to attach a scsi 3310 jbod.
Network storage of this type is new to me, is there anyone who can tell me the basic steps (or detailed) I need to go through for this config..Sun's documentation all points to 3310 with hardware raid and not the JBOD..

The 3310 is a RAID device, this should not be configured for DAS or JBOD.
 
Hi, the 3310 is NOT just RAID, there are RAID units and there are JBOD units, which allow the RAID units to expand storage behind the RAID head.
