Hi,
I'm trying to find a away to create the opposite function to SUMPRODUCT, ie SUM..DIVISION??, presuming that there isn't one out there already (I haven't managed to find one so far)

I figure the best way is to look at the actual coding sat behind the SUMPRODUCT function, if anyone knows it. If not, has anyone else managed to find a way to deal with this kind of query?

Any help on this appreciated

James

You can use SUMPRODUCT too:
=SUMPRODUCT(A1:D1,1/A2:D2)

combo

Thanks,
Just managed to work out another solution as well

={SUM(K3:AA3/X!A$2:Q$2)}

should have used a tad more lateral thinking before jumping the gun and going for a snazzy function....

Thanks

james
