Please I need help on how to use the summary function to Sum up a column that has negative and positive numbers.
I need the negative numbers to be all absolutes.
In the below table I need my Variance sum to be 125 and not -75. ( I use CR 7 .0)
The Variance sum is in my GF1.

Eg.
GH1 Qty_ordered Qty_Shipped Variance
D 300 200 -100
D 200 200 0
D 150 175 25
GF1 SUM Variance = 125

Thanks for your help
Mulema.

You can make use of the Abs function in a formula in place of the Variance field.

Abs({Variance})

Then sum that baby up.
