Summing on the footer of my report

Hi

I have to print an invoice, my problem is that i want to print a subtotal and a total at the bottom of my report??

actually i am not able to do a =sum([field]) on the page footer cause it gives me an #error and i dont know why?

so i have put my =sum([field]) on the report footer and it works but that does'nt print the total at the right place access put it after my detail section, so if i have 3 lines of detail it prints the total after.

Can someone helps me?

Assuming you have more than one invoice to print, have you tried doing your total in a Group footer?

No i did'nt try this cause i dont know how to do that??

and if i want to put my total at the end of my invoice is there a way to do that?

I'm not clear as to exactly what the problem is.

Questions...
1. You get the Total to show just fine by putting it in the report footer. Why don't you want the Total to show following the Detail lines?

2. Is there a subreport involved, or just a main report?

3. Are there cases where the invoice might run to a second page? If not, you could increase the size of the Report Footer a bit and put the Total control at the bottom of the Footer, put a line above it, do whatever you want.

In actual fact, the Group footer is also going to print after the Detail lines.

1- because i am using already printed invoice and at the end of it, there was a TOTAL so i want to put my total beside it

2- no sub report jus a main report

3- the only cases that the invoice will print on many pages is that the detail lines of the invoice will be too long!!
