I try to illustrate down-time and repairing work hours to machines. In my report I have group by machine and by work order code. I get down-time from one table and work hours from other table. Work order code is a link field between tables.

Problem is that when I insert summary of work hours to the report, summary of down-time starts to show down-time wrong. I tried do use running total field but it also shows down-time wrong.

I forgot to tell that problem only occurs when there is more than one work order to a machine. So if there is only one work order code to a machine then summary of down-time is calculated right.

If you link Table A to Table B, and table B has five records for every one in Table A, you get the Table A value five times. Is that it?

Ways round include grouping by a Table A value and using a running total that only adds once per group. If you're not already familiar with Crystal's automated totals, see FAQ767-6524.
