Summaries of Running Total fields

Does anyone know if you can show the value of a Running Total field in the report header section, if that Running Total is in the footer of a group? I'm just trying to show a summary at the beginning of the report for each group section effectively and need to find a way of referencing the Running Total fields from particular parts of the report.

Running Totals are processed later, but consider Insert->Crosstab and place it in the report header and place the appropriate fields in there.

Of course you've shared nothing about what you are summing or the group involved so I can't be specific.
