This SHOULD be a no easy but it's not working. I have Excel 2003

In column A I have Text. If the value in column A = "PROJECTION" THEN ADD IT UP, OTHERWISE DON'T. Column B has the $$ values.

So my Sumif formula is =SUMIF(A1:A800,"=PROJECTION",B1:B800)

Am I missing something?

Thanks so much for your help.

Paula
