SUM values stored in a MySQL databse

Hi Everyone,

Im very new to asp.net so please do bare with me, i have been researching this all night and i cant find the answer that im looking for.

I have a mySQL database, with lots of stored values, which i want to add together.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.
