Hi,

I have a data set like this

id status amt

001 stat1 10.00
001 stat2 10.00
002 stat1 100.00
003 stat1 10.00

Using CR 8.5 ver. Grouping by id and doing a manual cross tab to show count of status as columns but in the 1st 2 rows case I have to show sum(amt) as 10.00 in report Iam getting it as 20.00 How can avoid the doulbe count of summing.

Thanks in advance,
Sameer

sum(amt) will always be 10, try using a different summary type such as average, minimum or maximum.

Your manual crosstab should be using formulas like:

if {table.status} = 1 then {table.amt}

This would return 10 for each of the formulas. Then insert a summary(sum) on the formula. Again, the result would be 10 for each.
