Sum of subtotals

I am examining occupancy for rental properties.

My report has three groups:
1 - location
2 - year
3 - sublocation

I have an average daily occupancy figure which I suppress in details. The average daily occupancy is the basis of my summaries.

I average occupancy by year for each sublocation - group 3.

I want to sum for the overall location, which would be, for example,
Average sublocation1+Average sublocation2+Average sublocation3=Sum for location in that year.

Do I have to use variables or does Crystal 8.5 offer an easier way?

The sublocation average field is called: Avg. of occupancy
How would I refer to this group summary in a formula?
