hi, i saved an image for the web using photoshop and its size is about 400kb now. i sliced the image into slices using imageready. now i noticed that the size of all the slices together is bigger as the size of the picture? how can that be? how can i change that?

thanks :)

When you have a single image you have a single header section. When you slice an image you are creating a number of seperate images which each has it's own header, hence the total file size gets bigger.
I don't think there is any way round it unless you reduce the quality of the slices.
