I need to create a formula to sum NET ASSETS. (Total Assets – Total Liability)

My report has three groups defined.

Level 0 – Asset, Liability, Equity
Level 1 - Current Asset, Non Current Asset, Current
Liability, Non Current Liability
Level 2 – Account Details

Example of report

ASSETS (group – Level 0) OPENING BAL
CURRENT ASSETS (group – Level 1)
Cash @ Bank (group - Level 2) 349
Other Current Assets (group - Level 2) 20
NON CURRENT ASSETS
FITB 1
Property 13
TOTAL ASSETS (group – level 0) 383

LIABILITY
CURRENT LIABILITY
Borrowings 11
NON CURRENT LIABILITIES
Other 4
TOTAL LIABILITY 15

EQUITY
EQUITY
Arr 368
TOTAL EQUITY 368

NET ASSETS 368**
** (formula required, Total Assets – Total Liability)

I have applied the following formula but it results in 0.
if {@Level 0} <> "Equity" then Sum ({@Opening Balance}, {@Level 0})

As with most software, functionality depends on the version of your software, please include it in your posts.

Create 2 Running Totals, and in the Evaluate->Use a Formula place something like:

<insert your group 1 field here> = "Asset"

and in the other:

<insert your group 1 field here> = "Liabilitiy"

Now you can use these Running Totals in a formula at the end of the report to do the math.

Sorry Version 9.0.

Thanks will try suggested fix
