SUM A FIELDS BY GROUP

I have a problem with a record,
I have 2 fields but this is a sum of details.
"Importe" and "cant" are sum of details in the group1 and when I want get the "total" is very easy, but I can´t obtain of "TotalGral" becouse the field "total" haven´t of option subtotal, How do I get the "TotalGral" to group 2

Importe cant total
12 5 60
8 3 24
3 2 6
TotalGral 90

In the details section, insert a formula that is importe+cant. Then right click on this formula field and click insert grand total.

Assumming you do not want to see this detail field, delete it or suppress it, and your totals will still be fine. Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office

I Recive your response, but I say that "importe" and "cant" are two field of group 1 where its are a sum of detail, and then "importe" and "cant" are formula field and the "total" is a importe*cant, but total is in the group 1 and to section of resume I can´t insert grand total, becouse not appear this option with the right click,
I did that you say, but this only is in the detail section, becouse if I want a subtotal of the section or gruop I can´t.

I am sorry, I meant multiply the 2 fields not add.

This is what your sections would look like:

section details
articulo importe cant total (importe*cant)
record 1 1 12 2 24
record 2 1 12 2 24
record 3 1 12 1 12
record 4 2 8 2 16
record 5 2 8 1 8
record 6 3 3 1 3
record 7 3 3 1 3

As you can see this would return group totals of 60, 24 and 6, and a grand total of 90.

DO NOT right click on a group field, right click on the detail field, and insert summary and grand total.
