suggestions wanted on generating interest

looking for any suggestions you might have on how to generate consumer interest in a cell phone product...not a lot of money available for advertising and would like to get the word out on a grassroots level...

thanks in advance!
(oh and, yes they have a website, yes it is optimized for search engines)
